Bottle Rat Definition;
Typically a bird, broad, ho, slut, skank, bitch or skeezer whom instantly appear out of nowhere (most often in the VIP area) when guys are popping bottles and they think they are entitled to free drinks because they are packing fake titties, fake lips, fake tan and more often than not have had sex with at least one B-list celebrity in the butt.
Having worked in the club industry for seven years as a promoter, the biggest hazard of the job was dealing with the growing epidemic of the Bottle Rat, or “Bottle Whore” as we like to refer to this strange species in the UK.
Every week, I would be presented with groups of girls who would arrive at the club with a face like a slapped arse sitting at the promoters table that they call “theirs” looking angry, texting into their phones waiting for the free bottle to appear so the night can begin.
Bottle Whores are their own worst enemy, as they are the ones that cause the drama on the night ruining it for themselves, not the promoter who they inevitably go online “post night-out” and leave bad reviews about because the free drinks were not brought out in a “timely manner”.
—Take this review by a professional Bottle Whore for example;
The fact she had the audacity to complain after receiving a free $500 magnum of vodka, a free VIP table and that others in VIP received their drinks first is typical Bottle Whore behaviour. Clearly she had not considered that maybe (just maybe) the people receiving their drinks first, actually paid money for their drinks? *Kermit face
I would see this on a weekly basis and felt compelled to do something after receiving a long winded email from a girl called Charity Osei Tutu saying that I had “ruined” her birthday and she was going to “sue me for everything I have own”. What did I do? Did I kill her mother? Did I set fire to her pet? Not exactly…
Basically, on the night in question the group arrived after 11pm (ladies are free before 11pm) and therefore had to pay an entry fee as per the rules— After managing to get them in for a reduced fee, I took them to a free table, but as she turned up with 5 girls than the 15 she had promised me, I had to put them on a shared table… Fair?
After 30 minutes, I provided the group with drinks and thought that was the end of it until the following morning where she decided to start making some threats…
I don’t take threats to well, and in a moment of sheer genius I set up the website www.bottlewhore.co.uk and put all of her information on the site, including an un-flattering picture from her Facebook page and sent her the link in childish retaliation.
Within a week, the site received over 3000 visitors and had at least 12 featured Bottle Whores on the website warning other promoters that these guests should be avoided. Inevitably the guests found themselves on the site and sent me even more threats, which I took screenshots of and added to their profile page, providing additional evidence that they were also aggressive to my amusement.
Everything was going well until a month passed when I received a call from an “unknown number”, which turned out to be “Chief Inspector Smith” from the Metropolitan police, following up a report of harassment from Charity who claimed she was being bombarded with phone calls late at night to her number that I posted on the site, and he was in charge of investigating this “crime”.
I found this particularly hilarious at the time, stating that I thought it was “Very unfair that there are hundreds of review sites out there that allow guests to write whatever they like about me and my business” damaging my reputation anonymously in the process — yet when the roles are reversed and I set up a site that reviews customers, suddenly I’m a criminal?
I politely told him to fuck off and just like a pack of Top Trumps I added “cry-baby” to her attributes.
A few more weeks passed and I was busy working on a new business so didn’t have the time to update the website anymore and decided to take it down. You can still find her bad reviews of me online though after a quick google search— this one in particular from Charity made me laugh;
I have to be honest, towards the end of my time in the industry I stopped giving a fuck — If guests were being twats, I would call them a twat— if they made “demands” for more booze I would tell them to piss off etc etc
I lost caring about trying to be nice to these type of people which is probably not the most professional, but when you have to deal with it on a daily basis you do end up snapping which I will admit I did on several occasions..
I still have my database of Bottle Whores so it is tempting to do a follow-up and see if these guests have changed their ways, so keep an eye out on Sonarz for an exclusive interview with a former Bottle Rat, coming soon..
